SPECTRA 2.0 now uses advanced Assignable RGB (ARGB) lighting for silky smooth visual lighting transitions.
It is available on the ZOTAC GAMING MEK ULTRA and MEK MINI PC Gaming Systems as well as on the VR GO 2.0 and 3.0 models and select ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX and RTX SUPER 20-series graphics cards, as well as legacy ZBOX MAGNUS E-series Mini PCs. Since its initial release, SPECTRA has improved greatly and matured into what is now SPECTRA 2.0. The first generation of SPECTRA has been featured on several ZOTAC GeForce graphics cards (mainly the AMP and AMP EXTREME series) as well as the ZOTAC GAMING MEK1 PC gaming system, which was introduced in early 2018. Early versions of SPECTRA provided very basic RGB visual control and display options such as lighting that stayed solid, flashed, faded, and so forth. It works with ZOTAC hardware and controls the integrated RGB lighting that is found in select ZOTAC hardware products.
get your money back and invest in something like the msi 2070s or asus 2070 up to you which one you prefer.ZOTAC SPECTRA is a proprietary RGB control application that first came out some years ago.
Software does not launch for me and the RGB stopped working too after the software prompted I such down my PC and turn it back on again, and ever since I did that I have no RGB lights what so ever.ĭon't get me wrong though, the card does perform and it performs extremely well no issues there.īut what's the point in me paying so much when I'm not able to utilize the cards software to push this card to his maximum limits and experience nice visuals.Ĭontact support if you haven't already, they will most likely send you previous versions of the firestorm software, try to do a windows reset? maybe that would work idk, take out the gpu and put it back in maybe its a seating issue, make sure its not sagging that much? if all of the above that I mentioned fails, don't bother RMA'ing the card, you will wait a month for no guarantee that the new card won't do the same. Which pissed me off to be honest.Įventually I gave in and instead of RMA'ing the card since I had 0 guarantee that the same issue won't occur when I get my new replacement card, I decided to get a Refund, sending mine back off tomorrow.
That being said I was under the impression that I had to download the software since I had just installed it in order to use the spectra utility just so I can address my RGBs to my preferred choice.īut the software kept crashing for me Version 8E, I went back and forth with support but they kept telling me that they have no problems with any of the amp editions or amp versions of their 2080 tis in their factorys and that the card that I currently had was faulty.
I have the RTX 2080 TI ZOTAC AMP Extreme Edition, which arrived Thursday last week, installed it, and the only rgb light that came on was a blue one. Reason why I say this is because depending on how long you've had it for, or how long your warranty is, you can get a refund. You know what buddy, if I am completely honest with you, you're better getting a refund for your card.
